[REVIEW] True Crime – by Samantha Kolesnik

This is a genuinely difficult book to read, due to its child abuse/rape and murders. I was truly sickened more than once during the course of True Crime, but I continued reading because the story was also horrifically engrossing. Similar to the driving force of You by Caroline Kepnes, True Crime is fueled by the firsthand accounts of a psychotic character that is uncomfortably captivating. True Crime will be a major trigger for some, no doubt, but if you can handle the terrible nature of the story, you’ll find a short novel that will keep you sweaty and glued to the pages from start to finish.
